Dave Cook & Bryan Cook have been refinishing log homes since 1999. They offer two ways to strip a home. The first is the dry blasting, and the second is power washing. When dry blasting Dave & Bryan use many different types of blasting media depending on the age, condition, and type of log home. They use walnut shells, corncob, crushed glass, and occasionally coal slag. When power washing, soaps, brighteners, and strippers are used.

Dave & Bryan's blasting equipment consists of: a 3 axle trailer equipped with a 350 CFM compressor and a blasting pot that will hold 3 cubic yards of media. This setup will also allow two men to be blasting at the same time for faster productivity.

Their power washing equipment consists of: a 25 horse Kohlar engine which runs a hot water washer that allows three men to be in operation at one time. This equipment is enclosed in a tandem axle trailer that can be easily brought into any job location.
